Simple Chair Makeover

This chair was on the curb, who would throw away this awesome chair, I grabbed right away...walking quickly as I see other neighbours eyeing the chair waiting to make their approach, my advantage, it was my next door neighbour. I grabbed it quickly, the seat and upholstery was in amazing shape.

All it needed was a coat of paint and voila a beautiful piece of furniture.

Cheap Temporary Fix

My mom removed the carpet from the stairs, didn't care what was underneath it all she cared about was ripping it all out...she was getting sick of seeing the same carpet. Well the stairs were not in great shape, and she did not want to redo the stairs now so I offered to do a little makeover so the stairs could be nice enough where whenever she walked up the stairs she wouldn't cringe. I found this great adhesive paper at the dollar store, it only cost $2 a roll and it was easy to apply, no water no mess...just the sticky back.

UPDATE:

My mom has refinished the stairs and all the flooring in the house, she didn't get the back of the stairs finished because she loves how paper looks, so I removed the paper to apply a better quality wallpaper, so check back in a few days for the new pics!

Welcome to my new blog...
It will be up and running soon, as soon as I do a few projects. I will be finding items from thrift stores, garage sales and even garbage piles and giving them a new purpose to live...I'll be giving them a revamp.

Please send me pics of your revamps...

Thank you and keep checking back.
