Another Makeover for the Stairs

So you saw the quick fix on the stairs, I used shelf paper I bought from the dollar store, it was nice but and the quality and selection wasn't that great. After removing the shelf paper, I realized this would have lasted forever, it took so much time to remove it, and its easy to clean. But the new wallpaper was bought and some of the stain from the stairs got onto the paper so we had to remove it.

It wasn't easy to remove this...not bad for only $2 a roll at Dollarama.

The stairs used to have carpet, they were so damaged with lots of holes.
That's why I used the shelf paper to give it a quick fix before the stairs were refinished.

This wallpaper is really good quality, and at $40 a roll it definitely should be.
We needed about 2 rolls... Make sure when you buy your wallpaper
you can flip the pattern sideways, depending on how wide your step is, if you cut it
sideways you can do more steps and without having to match up 2 pieces and
you won't have to use to many rolls.

Don't forget to measure twice so you can only cut once.

Once your wallpaper is all cut, start pasting it to the back of the stairs.
Some paper is self adhesive but this one wasn't I had to buy some wallpaper
paste, I used a brush to apply it and then applied the wallpaper, there is time to
do adjustments before it dries.

I love how the stairs turned out, a lot more interesting than
just painting it white.

What do you think of this look.
